Why This Class Matters  Beyond Sewing
This isn’t just about learning to sew a tote bag. “Come Sew With Me” is part of a broader vision:
-
Rebuilding Lives Through Creativity
The class is taught by Rashod Armon Stanley, who began sewing while incarcerated. His journey illustrates how creativity can heal, offer purpose, and rebuild identity. The Trenches Global -
Bridging Gaps in Access
Sewing and fashion are often inaccessible to many due to cost or location. This program reduces those barriers by offering an affordable, local, supportive environment. -
Empowering Community
Proceeds support free programs for youth, creating a cycle of giving back. The Trenches Global+1 -

A Closing Thought
“Come Sew With Me” isn’t just a class  it’s a statement. It says that everyone deserves access to creative tools, no matter where they’re from. It says that the simple act of sewing can ripple outward  stitching individuals back into confidence, communities back into connectivity, and dreams back into possibility.
If you’re in the Atlanta, GA area (or willing to travel), this is more than a workshop it’s a doorway. And if you attend, you won’t just finish with a finished project… you’ll leave with a new skill, new perspective, and (potentially) the beginning of a creative journey.
In the Trenches, we don’t just sew garments  we sew growth, purpose, and global impact.”
